It’s almost August and the fishing is GREAT all over Washington State. The Ocean is kicking out fish … the Columbia river from the mouth all the way to Rufus Woods is giving up chromer fish … and the rivers, lakes and reservoirs are all hitting for bass, walleye, trout, steelhead and even panfish … basically it’s ON like Kong!
So we only have 22 days left in this GREAT steelhead season and fishing is as good as it has been all year! All year we have battled with fluctuating river levels and crazy weather, but here at the end …

Wenatchee River is open to steelhead in the earliest opening that we have seen in a long time!! So with all the anticipation what happened? The rains came down and the river blew out!!
Todd’s found solid springer action in the Columbia system…and is getting excited for the Snohomish opening (June 1) with 15,000 kings and summer-run steelies coming through!
Todd’s still out finding late winter-run steelhead and is gearing up for record runs in Columbia River tributaries….
