Nick Frye, our custom rod builder, is a genius! He took a copy of a family photograph and cut it out. He then layered it with color preserver and put it onto the fishing rod blank. Check out the pictures!

We take great pride in our custom fishing rods so we want to take a minute and walk you through our custom rod building process. As you can imagine, it’s quite labor intensive, so we’ll break it up into a few parts. In part one, we get our bushings reamed and glued, our reel seat and grips set, and then we leave that rod alone to dry!
