Then I’m off to the Snake River to chase around feisty summer-run steelhead and up-river bright chinook salmon! Be sure to catch Bonner’s full report….

It’s almost August and the fishing is GREAT all over Washington State. The Ocean is kicking out fish … the Columbia river from the mouth all the way to Rufus Woods is giving up chromer fish … and the rivers, lakes and reservoirs are all hitting for bass, walleye, trout, steelhead and even panfish … basically it’s ON like Kong!

This means chrome-bright, sea liced, scrappy fish that fight like crazy every day!

Football season has begun (yahoo!), school is starting up again, the weather is just fine and the fish are biting! Bass and walleye action remain strong over east. The topwater fishing for bass has been great of late, with really nice, quality, 2-6 lb., largemouth bass.
